Weekly Review

Dear Pastors and praying friends thank you so much for your continued prayers and support. We are honoured to serve God with you here.

  • My grandmother passed away last Tuesday evening. She lived 90 years and served many of those years as with my grandfather as pastor of a Baptist Church in South Carolina. I thank God for the godly heritage that I have.
  • In language school we continue to learn more and more of the language. This week we learned another conditional verb form. It is quite interesting because it is quite different from English. When we learned it I found out many more mistakes that I didn’t know I was making when speaking.
  • Today I again reviewed the different words that are used for family relationships. Uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and in-laws depending on how we are related can be very different. It can be quite confusing but it helps when talking to people about their families to understand how they are related just from what they call them without having to have it all explained.
