Prayer Letter April 2018

Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,

Thank you so very much for your continued prayers and support. We are honored to serve God with you all! We have now completed our first month of language school. We have learned a lot in that short amount of time and it is nice to be able to hold broken conversations with people and understand more at church.

Over this past month I was able to attend a class on preaching here in Sarajevo. I only understood a small part of it because the whole class was in Bosnian, but it was a great opportunity to practice more of what I have learned and learn some new words and phrases.

We are still in the process of finishing up our visa paperwork. We will turn the paperwork in this month and if it is all accepted we will have a year long visa. God has been so good to us in giving us people here to help us through this whole process!

I have also been privileged to meet and learn how some of the believers here were saved. One of the men that attends the church here went through Islamic theological training and even served as an Imam for 7 years. It is really awesome to hear how God continues to save people.

Praises from March:

  • Finished first month of language school.
  • Able to make some friends to practice language with.

Prayer Requests:

  • That our Visas paperwork would be accepted.
  • That we learn Bosnian.
  • That we would learn Bosnian culture.
  • That God would prepare people in Bosnia for the Gospel.

Yours for Bosnia and Herzegovina

Micah and Kathryn Rastelli
