Why the name VisionSEE?

The name VisionSEE comes from a great desire to see Southeast Europe reached with the Gospel. I was born in Italy, really close to this part of the world where my parents were missionaries for a few years. Over the last few years I have become more and more burdened for this part of the world. About 139 million people live in Southeast Europe and the need for the Gospel is very great!

The countries of Southeast Europe are:

  • Bosnia – 3.8 million (50% Muslim, 31% Orthodox, 15% Catholic)
  • Bulgaria – 7.5 million (79% Orthodox, 12% Muslim)
  • Albania – 3.1 Million (63% Muslim, 17% Orthodox, 13% Catholic)
  • Croatia – 4.4 Million (88% Catholic)
  • Greece – 11.1 million (92% Orthodox)
  • Kosovo – 2 Million (80% Muslim, 6% Orthodox, 4% Catholic)
  • Serbia – 7.7 Million (16 Muslim, 74% Orthodox)
  • Slovenia – 2 Million (44% Catholic, 44% non-religious)
  • Montenegro – .6 Million (72% Orthodox, 15% Muslim)
  • Romania 21.1 Million (87% Orthodox)
  • Turkey 75.7 Million (97% Muslim)

Please pray with us that the Lord would raise up many more laborers for this part of the world. Truly the need is great!
